A tidy and slender, erect-growing Chinese maple. Beautiful cinnamon-brown, smooth bark peels in thin strips. Comes into leaf in November, evading a lot of the damaging spring winds. Fiery-red autumn leaves. Acer griseum (Paperbark Maple) is a deciduous tree that grows at a moderate rate to reach 6m (H) x 5m (W) in 10 years.
