The Kangaroo Paw is a robust perennial with long, upright, sword-shaped leaves. In spring and summer, it produces flower stems reaching 1.5 to 2 meters in height, adorned with velvety green flowers that resemble a kangaroo's paw. The plant itself grows to about 30 to 40 cm in height. It's low maintenance, requiring minimal care beyond the removal of spent flower stalks.
