A cultivar of the native New Zealand Leptospermum or Manuka. Has dark, bronze-green foliage and double burgundy-red flowers appearing in late winter and through spring that attracts bees. Suitable for growing in most soil types, wet or dry. Tolerates exposed and coastal conditions, sun or semi-shade and frost-hardy. A medium sized evergreen shrub/tree.
