Very lush, thick stems in vivid red colour and a wonderful flavour. Large dark green folaige. Harvest year round.  Good disease resistance. Edible reddish-coloured stems are used in desserts, preserves and cooked dishes. Ideal planted in garden beds or large pots where it will remain undisturbed.

Before planting cultivate soil to a depth of 20cm and mix in compost and complete garden fertiliser. Use Oderings Potting Mix for containers. Feed with blood and bone during the warmer growing months. Plant 90cm apart from other plants.
