A vigorous and easy to grow rhubarb that produces beautiful blood red stem and a sweet delicious flavour. Harvest year round. Retains a pink colour when cooked. Edible reddish-coloured stems are used in desserts, preserves and cooked dishes. Ideal planted in garden beds or large pots where it will remain undisturbed.

Before planting cultivate soil to a depth of 20cm and mix in compost and complete garden fertiliser. Use Oderings Potting Mix for containers. Feed with blood and bone during the warmer growing months. Plant 90cm apart.
