Recognized as the world's most sought-after table olive, this variety is an excellent choice for home gardens due to its compact growth. It boasts large fruit that can be harvested green and is suitable for both pickling and oil extraction. Ripening early in April, it is self-fertile, yet its yields are enhanced when cross-pollinated with Olive europaea ‘Frantoio’. While productive, it is susceptible to Peacock Spot, and precautions should be taken to avoid exposure to harsh frosts.
