Inca Alstroemeria Lucky is a compact shrub which produces masses of crisp white flowers with colourful throat markings of red, yellow and pink on healthy foliage. A classically pretty garden specimen which will give years of joy but never gets invasive or out of control.
Flowers emerge in mid spring and will persist for many months, even known to spot flower throughout the winter in milder climates. These beauties are capable of going dormant if there is a drought, flushing back to life when the conditions are better.
- Suitable for garden, pots or borders.
- Likes a full sun to part shade position
- A humus rich soil.
- Feed after flowering with slow release fertiliser.
- Remove dead flower heads by tugging the stems to remove, which stimulates repeat flowering.
Flower cuttings are also fairly long-lived, lasting over two weeks when in a vase.
Planting Guide: Before planting cultivate soil to a depth of 20cm and mix in compost and complete garden fertiliser. Use Oderings Potting Mix for containers.
