Prefers a brightly lit condition and can tolerate partial shade, but keep out of direct sunlight. Monstera will thrive in a warm, humid environment. Water when the top layer of soil has dried out. Feed throughout the spring and summer growing period once a month with a liquid houseplant fertiliser. Being a naturally climbing plant, it does well with a moss pole for support. Gently wipe leaves with a damp cloth to avoid dust build up.
