This outstanding strain of giant flowered Freesia produce huge scented blooms on strong wiry stems, 30-50cm high. They are easy to grow and thrive in sunny well drained positions but need protection from frosts. Plant bulbs in well worked soil 5-6cm deep and 8-10cm apart. To keep clumps together, plant them in a bulb protection baskets and place it just below the soil surface. An occasional spraying of insecticide and fungicide is recommended to help control unwanted pests and diseases.
