Archontophoenix Cunninghamiana - Bangalow Palm 7.5L

The Bangalow palm is a fast growing single trunked palm that can grow as much as 40cm of trunk per year once established. It is relatively cold and frost hardy but needs protection from windy conditions to avoid becoming tattered and damaged. In the garden it is best situated among larger existing trees that can help prevent wind damage and in severe low temperatures and give the palm overhead canopy protection.

The Bangalow palm can be used as an indoor or conservatory potted plant before growing too tall for the purpose. Bright light suits it best if grown in doors.
This palm appreciates well drained but moist soils and plenty of annual feeding. The trunk is self-cleaning with older fronds falling away revealing the next ring of trunk.
