Makes an excellent background perennial due to its height, would suit a cottage garden. Flowers from early spring through to late autumn in shades of dark blue with a dark bee. Excellent for cut flowers. Remove faded spikes at base to encourage fresh foliage. Stake plant to protect from strong winds.
