Pisonia Branched 27cm

This can be grown as a houseplant and forms a dense bush to be kept at 80cm - 100cm. The Pisonia makes for a popular indoor plant as it has large oval variegated leaves and is easy care.

In the upper north island you may see this in the forests or in gardens with its sticky fruit. We do not recomend planting this tree outside in the upper-north island as birds can become trapped in the tree from the sticky fruit the tree produces. It is not likely your tree at home inside will develop the fruit

Habitat: Can grow to a mature size of 3m tall. Ideal for pots indoors.

Light: Bright indirect light

Water: Water every 1-2 weeks, allow the top few inches to dry between watering and keep a little on the drier side in the winter.

Humidity: Average room humidity. not essential to mist.

Soil: Re-pot into Oderings houseplant potting mix

Fertiliser: Use a Liquid fertiliser once a month in the growing season

Pests:  Aphids are most common and can be found on new growth

Poisonous for pets: Mildly toxic to pets and humans if ingested.
