Nephrolepis Petticoat Fern

The Nephrolepis Petticoat Fern is a charming houseplant baby with feathery, upright fronds that cascade slightly at the tips, creating a delicate "petticoat" effect. Its elegant, upright growth makes it ideal for indoor pots, tabletops, or as a feature in hanging baskets. Hardy and easy to care for, the petticoat Fern brings texture and lush greenery to any indoor space.

Habitat: Can grow to a mature size of 30-50cm tall and 30-50cm wide. Ideal for indoor pots and hanging baskets. 

Light: Prefers bright, indirect light but tolerate moderate light conditions. Avoid direct sunlight.

Water: Keep soil evenly moist; water weekly  during spring and summer, allowing the top layer to dry slightly in winter. 

Humidity: High; mist regularly to prevent browning tips and encourage healthy fronds.

Soil: This plant should stay in this pot for around six months. After that re-pot into Oderings houseplant potting mix

Fertiliser: Use a Liquid fertiliser  during the growing season

Pests:  Aphids are most common and can be found on new growth

Poisonous for pets: Non-toxic to pets and humans.
