Has roundish to heart-shaped grey-green leaves which have distinctive silvery grey veins. The leaves undersides are a purplish maroon colour. Masses of tiny pink blooms cover the compact evergreen foliage in spring. Great trailing plant, also can be used as ground cover. Best planted in full sun to part-shade in a cool, moist position with well drained soil. Trim lightly after blooming to remove the flower stems and encourage compact new growth.
Water regularly in spring and summer but allow the soil to dry in winter. For the best results feed houseplants once a month with a liquid fertiliser.
