Fig Brown Turkey

Well-known hardy selection with large crops of green figs with distinguishing brown tinge. White to amber flesh. Eats OK but best for culinary uses. 

Although commonly perceived as fruit, figs actually comprise a cluster of tiny flowers nestled inside an edible shell. All fig varieties exhibit frost tolerance and can undergo significant pruning to maintain the desired shape and size or left to flourish for children to climb. Early fruit formation occurs on last season's wood, while autumn fruit develops on the new season's growth.
