This small, tree has a dense, somewhat flattened canopy formed by wide-spread, tiered, horizontal branches that sometimes weep to the ground. Golden yellow foliage in Autumn, soft green in Spring. Large snow white single and semi-double fragrant flowers in long drooping clusters in Spring. Position in full sun for best flower display. Best planted in deeply worked, free-draining, organically enriched, moisture-retentive soil. Apply mulch to retain moisture. Shelter from strong winds. Feed early in spring to maintain vigour.
