A vigorous tree with a wide conical habit. Foliage is green, rounded and shiny. One of the last trees to drop its foliage in the autumn. Yellowish male catkins and female cones held at the branch ends make an attractive feature. Great avenue tree or lawn specimen. This fast growing tree is tolerant of a wide range of soils even those that stay wet for long periods. Height 10-12m
