Very hardy evergreen clump-forming plant with lush, fine dark green foliage and providing beautiful mauve-to-white flower spikes throughout the summer. Ideal for lining paths and outlining beds or mass planting. Lovely when planted in rock gardens.

Grow in a sunny to partly shaded position in slightly acidic, fertile, humus-rich, well drained soil. Requires regular watering. Does not require mowing. Spreads by underground stems.
