It is a great mass landscaping or border plant. Showy flower spikes will appear in spring. Great smaller plant for the garden border, used in driveway plantings, or plant so you can use the delightful berries in floral art. Grow in a sunny to part shade position. Prefers well drained, humus-rich soil. Requires regular watering. Pruning is not usually needed, but flower spikes may be pruned once finished.
