Russian tarragon is a hardy perennial herb grown for its aromatic slightly bitter leaves which are used fresh or dried to flavour soups, salads, dressings, casseroles, sauces and meat and to make tarragon vinegar. Thrives in moist, well drained soil in sunny to partly shaded position. Prune regularly to keep plants compact.
