Distinctive double flowers of lovely purple-violet drip deliciously in long panicles during spring. Very fragrant and lovely to bring indoors. Really a bit too pretty to be named after a General! Plant in sun to light shade in deep well worked soil. Side dress with lime occasionally. Deciduous.
