An outstanding variety featuring tulip-shaped buds which open out to large, burgundy-red flowers. Dark green foliage appears after flowering, taking on a yellow tone in autumn before falling. Flowers from an early age and for a prolonged period from mid spring. 

Great where space is limited. Excellent street tree.
