Philodendron Imperial Green

The Imperial Green has large, glossy, green leaves and makes a great choice for an exotic houseplant. It's low maintenance and an excellent air purifier. This starts off a delicate, small grade plant but grows to become a mature statement plant. 

Habitat: Can grow to a mature size of 100cm tall. Ideal for pots indoors.

Light: Bright indirect light. 

Water: Water about once a week, allowing the top layer of soil to dry out between waterings.

Humidity: High, mist plant 2 times a week to minimise brown leaf tips. Likes a warm environment away from draughts

Soil: Re-pot into Oderings houseplant potting mix

Fertiliser: Use a Liquid fertiliser only once or twice a year, preferably in the spring or early summer.

Flower Color:  Non-flowering

Pests:  Aphids are most common and can be found on new growth

Poisonous for pets: Toxic to pets and humans if ingested.

Be cautious with how you water and how often, and keep a little on the drier side in the winter. For the best results feed with a houseplant liquid fertiliser during the spring and summer growth period.
