Maranta Tricolour - Prayer Plant

This maranta has intricately patterned deep green, velvety leaves with yellow splotches and arching red veins. Ideal for pots to create a tropical look.

Habitat: Will grow to a mature size of 50cm tall. Ideal for pots indoors.

Light: Medium to bright indirect light

Water: Water every 1–2 weeks, allowing the soil to dry out half way down between waterings

Humidity: Normal room humidity is fine, but it prefers more humidity if possible. Can mist plant 3 times a week to help create humidity minimise brown leaf tips.

Soil: Re-pot into Oderings houseplant potting mix

Fertiliser: Use a Liquid fertiliser once a month in the growing season

Flower Color: Can occasionally produce tiny flowers are light lavender. The flowers take a lot of energy for the plant to create, so if you see blooms appearing, remove them before they bloom, to encourage your plant to focus its energy on producing big, bright leaves.

Pests: Spider mites and thrips are most common and can be found on new growth

Poisonous for pets: Non-toxic to pets and humans.
