A top selection of this useful ground cover. Forms a dense mat of shiny, dark green foliage. Short spikes of creamy flowers appear above the foliage in summer and autumn. Ideal as a ground cover to suppress weeds and to cover dry slopes, banks and hillsides. When group planted it forms a dense carpet of glossy green, this takes about three years to establish with plants spaced between 15-30cm apart. A tough plant that prefers part shade. Ideal in dry shade but the addition of peat moss when planting gets it off to a good start. Water regularly until established.
