Astilbe Plume 2L

Glossy dark-green ferny leaves suspend the lavish, closely packed flower spikes that transform into feathery plumes. This plant loves semi-shade. Ideal when planted in woodland gardens, under deciduous trees or along the side of a shaded wall against your home.

Grow in a semi-shaded position where they receive light for a few hours in the morning. Correct soil conditions and moisture is important for the astilbe to flourish, so incorporate plenty of compost when planting and ensure you incorporate mulch yearly to keep the roots moist.
