Acanthus, also known as bear's breeches, are striking plants featuring bold, evergreen foliage and tall flower spikes during summer. Acanthus mollis showcases large, glossy, deeply lobed leaves and tall spikes adorned with white flowers, each topped with a hood-like purple bract, in midsummer.
