Produces hard-shell nuts with good flavour. Due to their strong flavour this variety can be used for Marzipan. A heavy cropper and good pollinator. Disease hardy variety. Vigorous grower, self-fertile.

Mature size over approx 10 years: 4m high x 3.5m wide.
