Echinopsis Peanut Cactus 8cm

The Echinopsis Peanut Cactus 8cm is a small, clumping succulent cactus prized for its unusual peanut-shaped stems and easy care nature. Perfect for brightening a sunny windowsill or desktop, it brings a touch of desert charm to any space. With the  right care, it may reward you with vibrant red-orange funnel-shaped flowers in spring or summer. 

Habitat: Slow-growing cactus suitable for pots indoors. Can thrive for many years with minimal care. 

Light: Prefers bright, indirect light. Can tolerate some direct sun for stronger growth. 
Water: Water sparingly, allowing the soil to dry completely between watering. Overwatering can cause root rot.

Soil: Well-draining cactus or succulent potting mix recommended.

Fertiliser: Feed once a month during the growing season with a balanced liquid fertiliser for cacti. 

Flower Colour: Bright red-orange flowers appear at the tips of stems during warmer months. 

Pests: Generally hardy. Mealybugs or scale can occasionally appear.
