Mikania Apiifolia - Purple Plush

This decorative, spreading perennial has velvety leaves and stems covered in purple hairs. The three lobes leaves are dark green above and purple underneath, they hang from trailing stems and so look best in hanging baskets. Keep moist but not wet, prune regularly for compact growth.

Plant in full sun to semi shade in well drained soil. Be cautious with how you water and how often, and keep a little on the drier side in the winter. For the best results feed houseplants once a month with a liquid fertiliser.
