Dianthus Dark Royal Velvet has a dense grey-green evergreen foliage with attractive flowers in velvet/red with white markings. Flowering mid summer until early autumn. Prune stems after flowering, Prefers alkaline soils so adding some lime to the planting soil is beneficial. A beautiful rockery, cottage garden or border plant. Good cut flower.
