This succulent has the common name of stonecrop. It has very small green-yellow leaves which spread to form a dense mat, perfect as a ground covering plant. Only growing up to 5cm high and 30cm across. It prefers slight shade and well draining soils. In summer it grows tiny yellow star shaped flowers.

Before planting cultivate the soil to a depth of 20cm and mix in compost and a complete garden fertiliser. Use Oderings Potting & Basket Mix for containers. Grows best in a well drained area in full sun.
