Combating Ants with NoPests

Ants are social insects that can form colonies of many thousands and become a real problem for many of us, especially if they get into our homes. Foraging worker ants will search for food, particularly in kitchens, where they find and contaminate food. Ants generally form nests in dry, warm, underground spaces outside.

To get rid of ants, follow these simple steps:

Step 1: Search
Find the ant nest sites. Generally, ant nests are usually in warm, dry, sandy soil, often under a rock, paving stone, driveway, etc. On warm days, search for a stream of worker ants going back and forth into a hole in the ground.

Step 2: Kill

Use strips of 1cm - 2cm of NO PESTS Ants Bait for indoor and outdoor use where you see ants or have seen them. Workers feed on the bait and return it to the nest to feed and kill the queen(s) and larvae. Replenish the bait when needed until you see no more (or very few) ants feeding. This bait doesn't stain surfaces and needs to be reapplied after heavy rain.

You need a product outside the house capable of lasting in the elements. The best product for this is NO PESTS X-It Ant. This can be sprayed on hard surfaces wherever you see ants. Once this product is dry, it is untraceable to the ants. It works by the ants coming in contact with it and taking small particles back to the nest on either their feet or the food they have touched. This can have a considerable impact within four days of application. This product can also work on cockroaches.

The best product for hard-to-reach spots outside, such as barked areas, shingle drives, long grassed areas, or even compost heaps, is NO PESTS Sand4 Ants. This can be easily sprinkled over these areas, and the sand will drop through and target the ants at the base of those areas. You can also spray the top afterwards with X-It Ant if need be. Sand4 Ants' active life is a few months, and it cannot be taken up through roots, so it is safe to use around edibles and compost.
